Quilting on Memorial Day

What did you do on Memorial Day?  I quilted.  My sister in law Anna and my niece Amanda came over to help me work on a quilt we are doing for a fundraiser for my niece Angela's softball team.  I feel so blessed that I have the freedom to stay home all day and do one of the things I enjoy.  I love the American flag and want to make a quilt of the American and Texas flag one day.  This is what Angela's team quilt is being made of     I did not get the top done today, but I do not like much.  I hope you all had a great Memorial Day and thank you to all that have fought and are fighting for our freedom.
