Kindness

I know I have told you all before that I work with the best guys in the whole world but I really do.  One of the guys I work with had asked me to sew some patches on some shirts for him. I was so honored that he asked me and told him I would love to.   He brought me 14 shirts and each shirt had three patches.  He had said let me pay you and I told him no way I am just glad I can help you.  Today I returned the shirts to him and he said I have a gift for you not payment.  He gave me a $25 gift card to Hastings, $25 gift card to Lowes, $25 gift card to Subway and $5 gift card to The Broiler Room.  I was floored by his kindness....... So I am go to pass the kindness on.  This is my 22 post so I am going to give away a set of fat quarters. Ok, I tried this once already and it didn't work.

My name is Lisa and I live in Michigan. My favorite quilt block is a variation of a log cabin block where you make "boxes around boxes" if that makes sense.

What a nice friend you got but isnt it nice to do a small favour and then get a huge suprise afterwords:)

I am very new to quilting and i have very little fabric cause i depend on inherit or get from thriftshops cause i m on benefits due to artheritus, wiplash and fibromyalgia etc.

anyway enough "wining" you have a great blog and i added you on my blog on my blogs to visit often.
